The Social Welfare Office outlines the need for the following Social Protection programs for the coming year, 2018.

  • LIVELIHOOD FOR VOLUNTARY SUBMISSION FOR REFORMATION (VSRS) Objective:

It seeks to contribute toward achieving the goal of drug –free community by giving importance of the dignity for VSRs by giving them a chance to reform their personality.

  • CHILD WELFARE PROGRAM

Objective:

Promote child development in correlation to international rights of the child, eradicate abuses, deprivation and malnourishment.

  • COMPREHENSIVE ASSISTANCE TO INDIGENTS

Objective:

To substantially eradicate those elements of poverty during emergency situation through provision of appropriate intervention to help ICCs/IPs, individual/families group and communities cope with social, psychological, physical and economic problem arising` from crisis situation.

  • DAYCARE SERVICE PROGRAM

Objective:

To recognize the role of women and shall ensure the fundamental equality before the law of women and men and promote the integration of women as full and equal partners of men in development and nation building.

  • COMPREHENSIVE LOCAL INTEGRATION PROGRAM

Objective:

It seeks to contribute toward achieving the goal of permanent and peaceful closure of all armed conflicts with non-state armed groups.

  • SOCIAL PROFILING FOR SOCIAL WELFARE SERVICES BENEFICIARIES

Objective:

To substantially eradicate those elements of poverty during through provision of appropriate intervention to help ICCs/IPs, individual/families group and communities cope with social, psychological, physical and economic problem arising` from different aspects of life.

  • WOMEN DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Objective:

To condemns all forms of discrimination and promote equal opportunity for women to participate and contribute to the development of the political, economic, social and cultural realms.

  • SUPPORT TO PERSONS WITH DISABILITY

Objective:

To provide meaningful and productive life on the sector of Persons with Disability by developing their innate potential, physical, psychological and spiritual capabilities that would able them to contribute for progress.

  • SENIOR CITIZENS PROGRAM

Objective:

To be able to recognize the equal rights of the older persons both men an women to take their proper place in the society and make it a concern of the family, community and government.

  • YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Objective:

Providing opportunity, specifically the Out of School Youth (OSY) a well-rounded development of his/her personality, encouragement to develop her/his talent and skills and become a happy, useful and active member of society.
